What does a laneway suite need for HVAC?
A standalone CSA F280 heat loss for the suite, its own heating system (usually a cold-climate heat pump or ductless system), ventilation design with an MVDS, and BCIN-stamped documentation — the suite is a separate dwelling in the code’s eyes.
